Buckle your seatbelts and prepare for a masterclass of sound in this brand new, epic collaboration featuring international sensation, NGHTMRE, and rising stars, Jon Casey and Pauline Herr. “In Your Eyes” explores a gritty dubstep and trap vibe with its colossal journey of distorted, anthemic synths and hypnotical vocals. Fusing their unique styles and innovative skills, this trio utilizes their versatility to create a bass music anthem that is sure to be a fan favorite.

Starting 2024 off with a bang, this festival-ready ID has actually been a “secret weapon” being fine-tuned and crafted by these artists for quite some time now. The single started out as a demo by Pauline Herr that caught the ear of NGHTMRE, who then bounced it around with Jon Casey. Releasing under NGHTMRE’s Gud Vibrations label, this mold-breaking masterwork is a testament to the sound design and artistic talents of these creators.

Setting the scene, Pauline Herr introduces dark lyrics and low-end melodic loops that lead listeners to ricocheting bass. Delivering his classic diabolical sound, NGHTMRE enters the track, unleashing a whirlwind of energetic dubstep. The iconic trap aesthetic of Jon Casey explodes onto the second drop, sealing the tune with finesse and expertise.

NGHTMRE is fresh off his Great Sonic Wars 2023 Tour,’ built around hosting a special star-studded back-to-back set with a new performer each show. Pauline Herr and Jon Casey joined multiple stops throughout the run, alongside heavy-hitting producers including Dimension, Netsky, Ray Volpe, Moore Kismet, JOYRYDE, and many more. This tour allowed the three to tweak “In Your Eyes” into it’s final form while playing it out and feeding off the energy of the crowds. NGHTMRE has truly continued to expand his abilities over the past decade and open new doors in the dubstep scene, giving opportunities to upcoming artists. 

South African producer, Jon Casey, is also opening new doors and turning heads with his wide-ranging elements of trap, drum and bass, 140 dubstep, electronica, and much more. We had a chance to team up with him for his official remix of LYNY‘s “Noxious” for a HIHF Premiere. He has an extremely impressive discography of genre-defying originals, remixes for Noisia, Nitepunk, and Deathpact, plus his collaborations with TroyBoi, Great Dane, and Dabow. It Hz is also a ground-breaking collaborative project with Jon Casey and Chee that has already played the hottest lineups like Okeechobee and Def Global and iconic venues like Red Rocks.

Singer and songwriter, Pauline Herr, mixes her vocal talents with production, putting a unique spin on her niche of sound. Creating genres from future and melodic bass to trap and wave, Pauline has garnered support from some of the biggest names in electronic music including Alison Wonderland, ILLENIUM, RL Grime, SLANDER, and Zeds Dead. With a recent performance at EDC, this triple-threat electronic artist only continues to ascend in the exploding EDM world.
