In a harmonious vortex of melodic bass and cataclysmic dubstep, EMBER and Sara Benyo conjure up their newest collaboration, “Another Dimension”. In this shockwave of a track, the pair merge genre-bending production with intentional lyricism to depict a catastrophic sonic storyline.

Despite being a relatively new artist in the electronic space, EMBER is a name that is destined for great heights in 2024. The Las Vegas-based producer ignited a fire with his 2022 single, “Heat Boi”, where he flexed his dubstep chops with no restraint. Now wielding a seal of headbanger approval, EMBER valiantly brings this same ferocity into “Another Dimension”.

Setting the tone for the new year with yet another intoxicating effort, Sara Benyo continues to extend her list of rampageous releases with “Another Dimension”. The Nashville native has impressively found homes for her highly-sought after soundscapes on Subsidia, Bassrush, Ophelia, and more, continuing to demonstrate why her production prowess is a force to be reckoned with. Benyo’s ability to infuse her hypnotic harmonies with cut-throat sound design places her in a unique bracket of her own that has been turning more and more heads from dubstep dons including SLANDER, Seven Lions, Jessica Auddifred and more.

Propelled by the impending doom of Earth due to climate change, “Another Dimension” takes listeners on a journey rooted in apocalyptic thematics. The first verse places a large focus on the oblivion of our planet, with Sara Benyo’s celestial vocalizations contemplating what will be left when all fades away. With her vocals as the driving force of the first verse, the powerhouse pair allow listeners to slowly ease into “Another Dimension” of their own design.

In an evocative hook, Sara Benyo demonstrates a yearning for salvation as she pleads, “Oh, won’t you take me away?” With ethereal echoes and melodic bass synth work, EMBER and Benyo ride a drum-dominant crescendo into a firestorm of future bass. Both artists’ production styles shine through and meet in the middle to compliment one another as they prepare to shift “Another Dimension” into an unforgiving dubstep break.

In verse two, EMBER throws down one of his signature bloodthirsty drops that invigorates the track into a main stage monster. Defined by saturated growls and aggressive kicks, “Another Dimension” recategorizes itself from a mesmerizing melodic bass masterpiece into a genre-fluid, sub-shaking behemoth of a track. The polarity of these stylings is reflective of the end-of-the-world motifs that are interwoven both lyrically and sonically in “Another Dimension”. It is unquestionable that when they are paired together, EMBER and Sara Benyo are destined for otherworldly greatness.

Here is what Sara Benyo had to say about “Another Dimension”:

“Another Dimension is a captivating song that delves into the urgent and unsettling reality of our planet on the brink of destruction due to climate change and chaos. Despite the dooming message at its core, the song takes on a laid-back feel, creating a contrast with dubstep drops that adds depth to its narrative. The lyrics vividly portray the desire to escape the impending catastrophe by being abducted by aliens and transported to a safer haven before Earth succumbs to its fate.” Sara Benyo
