Liquid Stranger‘s long-awaited return to Tampa Bay is upon us! On Saturday, May 3rd, Liquid brings the Revolution Tour to The BayCare Sound in Clearwater with support from INZO, TVBOO b2b Jantsen, Shlump, and Gardella. The state-of-the-art venue has gained popularity among concert fanatics, establishing its reputation as one of the premier venues in the country. Coming off the heels of raving success with Of The Trees‘ and Lane 8‘s shows, The BayCare Sound is geared up to host one of the most beloved artists in EDM. The Revolution Tour is a reflection of Liquid Stranger’s relentless commitment to his music and the WAKAAN community. Saturday night, we pay tribute to this movement centered on rhythm and unity – we start the revolution.
The BayCare Sound
The BayCare Sound is a cutting-edge music venue in Florida, situated in Coachman Park in downtown Clearwater. The venue boasts 4,000 covered seats, along with an extra 5,000 seats on the lawn, all providing stunning views of Clearwater’s magnificent sunsets and the intercoastal waterfront. In its first ten months, the music venue was ranked as the #9 amphitheater globally and #4 in the U.S. by industry magazine, Pollstar. In September 2024, The BayCare Sound was named a finalist for the 2024 Amphitheater of the Year. Since its opening in June 2023, the venue has welcomed a diverse lineup of famous artists, including Dirty Heads & Slightly Stoopid, The Black Keys, Khruangbin, Willie Nelson, Ringo Starr, and many others.
Along with stunning views and ample room to enjoy the show, The BayCare Sound offers an array of concessions and accommodations. Full-liquor bars are dispersed throughout the property for easy access at any point in the set, and food trucks line the property with delicious grub for before, during, or after the show. Merchandise tents and craft vendors display collections of rave wear and stunning keepsakes to remember the night. Don’t forget to grab your merch!

The last time I went to The BayCare Sound, I marveled at the sound system. Back in February, I attended Of The Trees’ Moonglade Tour at The BayCare Sound, and was gladly overwhelmed by how clean the sound was. It was almost like I had not heard certain parts of the tracks before until I heard them on those speakers. For an act like Liquid Stranger, The BayCare Sound’s pristine sound system and production setup will elevate the action-packed experience even more. The dazzling tapestry of strobe lights and fluttering lasers are a visual treat for each enjoyer, so wrap up in that pashmina, throw on the sunglasses, and bask in the technicolor light!
It is fair to say that Liquid Stranger has made a lasting impact on the dubstep community. Not only with his music but also with his message, Liquid has cultivated a mass following of listeners dedicated to music and positivity. Liquid Stranger’s diverse approach to music has enabled him to distinguish himself among many artists eager to conform to commercial expectations. He has proven to be a monumental figure in the electronic dance music scene by connecting the realms of soft and heavy music, leaving the future of his legacy shrouded in mystery. He has taken the stage worldwide, being a trailblazer in making space-bass a global genre. This past weekend, he hosted three exclusive nights of bass-filled bliss at famed Mission Ballroom, which has been all the talk around HQ. With recent hit releases such as “Trailblazer”, “Restless”, and, of course, “Revolution”, we are stoked for a set of familiar favorites and unreleased filth.

Seeing INZO on this lineup when it first dropped was touching. As someone who fell in love with bass music after hearing “Overthinker” years ago, INZO is the perfect direct support act for Liquid’s Revolution Tour. Again, with a commitment to craft his own unique sound, INZO has become a must-see artist at festivals such as WAKAAN, EDC, and Lost Lands. Coming off the sold-out debut of “INZO Rocks”, Florida INZO fans have been craving a set from him. His most notable announcement to the EDM community lately was the unveiling of Local Void Records, “a label for the artist”, rooted in “elements of science, philosophy, psychology, and spirituality”. We are so excited to see one of our favorite artists continue to evolve his career, and relish the moments we will have with him on Saturday night.
Before we get to hop on the spaceship with Liquid and INZO, TVBOO and Jantsen will be taking us on a rollercoaster ride for an epic B2B. We will finally be able to hear the coveted “Champion Sound” collab, released last month, rinsed out live. Jantsen has been a crowd-favorite every time I see him at a festival. His distinctly distorted sound design and intense trap-like buildups make for drops that slap you clear into bass hypnosis. With a vault of original releases and a slew of collabs with other wonky artists such as SubDocta, Dirt Monkey, and Conrank, we can expect a high-octane set the whole way through. As if that wasn’t enough, TVBOO will spin alongside, bringing all the more energy. TVBOO has gained popularity among the bass community for his “larger than an eighteen-wheeler” personality and high-energy sets. Following the releases of “Skrawberries” and “Wook Worm”, TVBOO quickly rose to the top of the list of emerging superstars in the early 2020s. The pair will surely deliver an exceptional set, painted with bright colors of upbeat dance tracks and dangerously dark throw downs.

We are also privileged to have two stellar supporting sets from Shlump and Gardella. Combining classic dubstep influences with a West Coast twist and extraordinary sound design, Shlump has developed his distinctive “Alien Bass” style, crafting a dynamic soundscape of bass that showcases innovative nuances and powerful low-end vibrations, taking listeners into outer space. His live performances transport audiences across the continent on a psychedelic journey through Shlump’s universe, delving into deeper dimensions filled with the celestial shimmer of sonic stardust.
Gardella has made a name for himself among producers, boasting flawless collabs with Steller, Wreckno, Zingara, and Ravenscoon. Known as the “IT GIRL” of EDM, Gardella will bring the sunset vibes and sassy energy we need to get the night started!
