The track “Free Spirits” is a collaboration with rising star producer ALIGN and is sure to light up the dancefloor. The genre-blending duo is making waves as they bring numerous collaborations to their album, which we are eager to dive into. Big Gigantic has also mentioned that there will be a variety of energetic tracks, as well as more soothing downtempo songs, to create an in-depth, immersive experience for listeners.

Originating from Boulder, Colorado, Big Gigantic mixes saxophone, drums, and cutting-edge bass that captivates the souls of fans all over the world. Now based in Denver, the dynamic duo comprises Dominic Lalli and Jeremy Salkin, two trailblazers of electronic music and instrumental live performance. Big Gigantic has showcased insane, unforgettable sets at massive festivals for over a decade, such as Coachella, Electric Forest, Austin City Limits, and Outside Lands.

This Summer, they will be performing two unique shows at the iconic Bonnaroo festival in 2025, including at the debut of the 360* stage that everyone has been raving about, the Infinity Stage.

Since 2008, Dom and Jeremy have established themselves as two icons who are masters of live-action instrumental/DJ sets, playing worldwide in Europe, Asia, South America, and more. Dominic is a classically trained saxophonist and a producer with a master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music. Being a lifelong drummer, Jeremy keeps the beat going strong as he continues to impress us with his drumming, beat making expertise. They have produced numerous festival favorite collaborations with big shot electronic artists including GRiZGramatikNGHTMRE, and more! On top of that, they’ve worked with more mainstream, non-electronic names like Logic, Jennifer Hartswick, Vic Mensa, and tons more for collabs.

James Fisher, also known as ALIGN, has been on the rise in the EDM world as he releases refined elemental tracks such as a “Sun Models” ODESZA remix, as well as a remix of Louis The Child’s iconic song, “Supercharger.”  He’s worked with tons of acts we’ve kept a close eye on over the years here at HIHF, including INZO, Blookah, and more. Back in 2020, he also provided one of our first-ever guest mixes! The Chicago-based artist has also produced remarkable singles such as “Burning” and “Clear My Mind,” two euphoric and vibrant tracks. Collaborating with Big Gigantic in “Free Spirits,” ALIGN is catching the attention of many people, and we are excited to continue to follow along with his artistic journey.

Here is what Dom from Big Gigantic had to say about the fresh two singles from the ‘FLUORESCENCE’ album:

“‘Move Around’ is our shout‑out to New Orleans bounce and a nod to funky bass music—an infectious invitation for everyone to get loose on the dance‑floor.‘Free Spirits’ is our new electro‑soul anthem, blending soaring horn lines and funky guitar with booming bass and soulful vocals.”  -Dom

ALIGN describes his inspiration for co-producing the track “Free Spirits,” saying:

“I’ve always been a huge fan of Big Gigantic’s music, and I love their stylistic choices in songs.

After opening up for them at Red Rocks I was inspired by their set and the funky psychedelic ideas it gave me. I had started an idea that was a hip hop / funk beat and felt like a perfect fit for their signature sounds, and this one quickly came together. Blending our styles is something I’m super excited about, and it’s something I love hearing from other artists, too.” -ALIGN

The new age electro-soul duo gives us relentless energy with the first two tracks of their ‘FLUORESCENCE’ album.
