A new powerhouse duo has stepped out of the shadows and into the moonlight. Sharlitz Web and Jessy Covets collaborate on their newest track, “Queen of the Dark.”  This new dubstep heater comes just in time for spooky season. This release integrates Sharlitz Web’s thick, distorted dubstep sound with Jessy Covets’ angelic vocals.

Sharlitz Web has been weaving deep webs across the electronic scene as her impact grows.  She channels her past pains of loss into electrifying drops and emotional dubstep hits. As her music career has progressed, she has partnered up with several well-renowned labels like WAKAAN, Bassrush Records, and Circus Records.

She has been on a busy 2025 run. Her final 2025 stops include Houston, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Long Beach, Denver, and Orlando. In her upcoming lineups, it is clear that she is widely respected in the EDM bass scene.  Just in 2025, she shared the stage with heavy hitters like Excision and Subtronics. In her upcoming shows, she will be performing alongside artists like Effin, Cannabliss, WODD, Deathpact, and Flozone.

Jessy Covets comes full circle with this release on Bassrush Records. Her first EDM festival was EDC, catapulting her headfirst into the electronic scene. Now, she is releasing with Bassrush Records, an imprint of Insomniac Music Group, which runs EDC. This was not kismet. Jessy has been working on her catalog for years now with intention, and this is the result of that hard work.

Covets has been making huge creative strides in 2025.  Back in June, she unveiled her second full album, a twelve-track album titled “Manic Interlude.”  More recently, she published a three-track EP titled “ Fly.” Jessy’s hard work does not stop there. If you want a taste of her live sets, check out her set from this past July in Detroit with AREA 54. In the past, Jessy has also worked with standout artists like Sully, Ravenscoon, Damon Pirko, and Hudson Laird.

Jessy’s hard work doesn’t stop there. She is setting herself apart from the rest in the EDM scene with her creative animated series “Jessy The Ghost Destroyer.”  This animated series integrates Jessy’s music with her internal battles as an artist and her transformative journey of self-discovery. Much like Sharlitz Web, Jessy addresses her shadows deep within herself and, in her own words, “Turns her pain into melody” through her work.

The pair’s newest single, “Queen of the Dark,” exemplifies how both artists don’t fear the dark and ominous shadows. This track starts with a high-pitched chiming synths, then Jessy’s ethereal vocals take charge in leading the listener into the first eruption. This meltdown showcases Sharlitz Web’s gritty and distorted dubstep sound.

The second variation hits with a heftier mass. Jessy’s vocals, layered with sparkling, wind-chime-like synths, steer the listener into the moonlight. Her angelic sounds thread the melody into a thicker, less distorted low-end that rolls down lower and lower.

The final rumble surges with trembling high synths. An electric guitar darts in and out of the foreground, adding atmosphere and intensity to the track. A kick and the snare tie the bassline together. The outro drifts into fluttering beeps, mirroring the intro.
