Superstar electronic duo Louis The Child dropped their debut album Here For Now over the weekend!

The Chicago based pair has pumped out chart-topping hits since 2013 for consistently packed houses all over the nation; however, the feature-length album is a first from LTC.

Here For Now was preceded by noteworthy singles amassing millions of streams in collaboration with contemporary moguls Foster the People as well as Quinn XCII & Chelsea Cutler.  The album brings countless other big names into the fold across fourteen anthemic tracks, all ripe and ready for radio play.

While the sound is consistent within established expectations of Louis the Child tunes, various genre influences are employed alongside the talents of EARTHGANG, K. Flay, and Vera Blue amongst others.

In celebration of the new album, Louis The Child dropped a new line of merch with 100% of proceeds donated to Chicago’s SaveMoneySaveLife Foundation from June 24 – July 1. The charity, founded by Vic Mensa, provides educational & economic resources to Communities Of Color.

The merch, available here, is one of two charitable causes alongside the release: additionally, LTC has collaborated with Ryan Tedder‘s line of hemp-infused sparking water.

100% of proceeds from the first 5,000 sales are going to Sweet Relief Music Fund providing relief to music industry members affected by the COVID-19 pandemic – available here.

In a statement relatable to their intiatives, Louis the Child said of the release: “There are a few messages throughout the album. Primarily, it’s about realizing and accepting how short this life is, trying to appreciate the moments we get, and finding the magic in every second because we’re only here for now. We wrote songs about the way we view the world. The way we treat each other matters. We can be a positive light. Let’s not stress the small things. Let’s make our experience the best we can for ourselves and everyone around us.”
