Yesterday, American riddim and dubstep DJ and producer Wooli dropped his remix of Trivecta‘s “Wasteland” via Ophelia Records, Seven Lions‘s label. The original progressive/electro house track fuses emotional vocals with thumping dance basslines.

In this new remix, Wooli puts a new melodic dubstep spin on it with a larger-than-life breakdown accompanied by powerful supersaw chords.

This is the first remix off of Trivecta’s recent Everyday EP, which combines acoustic elements of folk and indie with dubstep and early progressive/electro house anthems on tracks like “Wasteland” and “Leave It All Behind”.

Since his first release with Monstercat in 2014, Trivecta continues to make waves in the future bass, trance, dubstep, and even drumstep worlds. His ability to incorporate melodic elements with progressive house and bass production has attracted fans across the dance music scene. Often working with other songwriters, producers, and vocalists, Trivecta stays true to his collaborative spirit as he continuously explores new ways to create music with other budding talents.

Meanwhile, Wooli continues ascending through the ranks of bass music. While he’s put out huge bangers himself with his unique and raw sound design, he’s also collaborated with a series of huge artists. Some of his big collaborations include the epic Evolution EP with Excision and  “Island” with Seven Lions & Trivecta (feat. Nevve).

Wooli’s last release was the collaboration “Don’t Forget Me” with the metal-influenced DJ and producer Sullivan King via Monstercat. Wooli has released music on other huge labels such as Welcome Records, Never Say Die, and Circus Records among others.
