CHOMPPA is a name we continue to see EVERYWHERE in 2022. He was just announced as part of the massive Interstellar Festival lineup, has opened up for huge names like Zomboy and Zeds Dead in the past and also collaborated with the likes of TVBOO and SuperAve. A favorite of Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats label, the young Maryland producer has a MASSIVE future ahead of him.

A few weeks back, CHOMPPA teamed up with fellow booming up and comer Elderbass for their collaborative banger “Blow The Whistles,” off the legendary British dubstep imprint Circus Recordings. Today, he returns to Doctor P and Flux Pavilion‘s iconic label for his new single “Different Sound” featuring Rivibes.

Rivibes brings the grime-style UK flow to the track with a vicious lyricism that pairs perfectly with CHOMPPA’s production efforts. Building up to a MASSIVE breakdown that is sure to knock you out of your seat, this one is going to be a hit with both the experimental bass world as well as the headbanger/more-mainstream dubstep scene. I could totally see this one dropped at festival stages like Lost Lands or Bass Canyon this summer!

Here’s what CHOMPPA had to say about the new dubstep smash:

“I had this grime-inspired beat sitting on my computer for a couple of years that I wasn’t sure what to do with. When Rivibes put some rhymes on top, the tune had new life breathed into it. I’m beyond excited to continue working with Circus for its release!”
