Dion Timmer has proved himself time and time again with his work. From collaborating with massive names like Virtual Riot, Adventure Club, and of course, his mentor Excision, to gracing festival stages all across the world, this young producer is a rocket shooting right for the stars.

Today, Timmer is headed to the world of Subsidia, Excision’s new record label, which has hosted hundreds of different Dubstep producers’ releases since its conception in fall 2020. Subsidia has dropped seven compilation albums so far and it doesn’t seem like they’ll be slowing down any time soon.

For Dion Timmer’s Arcane project, the production maestro is flexing the production chops he’s become so well known for. On the intro track, he collides with resident alien Lucii, who provides both infectious extraterrestrial wubs and her own chilling vocals to “All My Thoughts”. Next up is the title track, “Arcane”, which quickly grows into an otherworldly soundscape as well.

Following that is “Ikari”. Another headbanger’s delight, this diabolical new tune features Dubstep-rap favorite Armanni Reign as well as the extremely talented Hybrid Trap and Bass producer G-REX.

Next is “Haunt Me”, which employs brutal hyper-pop synths alongside a ghastly vocal effort courtesy of Azuria Sky. Eventually morphing into a Riddim-style Dubstep track, add this banger to the massive artillery of heat Timmer already has under his belt.

“Amsterdam” is a more chill effort on the full-length album, boasting the newly-popular Future/Melodic Riddim sound, while the uplifting “Broken Pieces” sees Timmer clash with Excision and the talented songstress Monika Santucci, who has collabed with big melodic names like ARMNHMR, Trivecta, William Black, Nurko, and loads more in the past.

For the final track of the album, we’ve got “Rediscovery”, a journey into the mind of Dion Timmer and it’s an absolute rollercoaster. Starting off with an onslaught of drums and horns, it quickly blasts off into a cracklin’ Drum N Bass face-melter.

You can also experience Arcane as a full-length, fifty-three-minute mix, taking the last spot on the album. What was your favorite track off Arcane? Let us know down below in the comments. Also, who got their Lost Lands tickets yesterday???
