Trevor Christensen, aka Said The Sky, captures beautiful melodies with various instruments, bringing an emotional experience to listeners, eventually leaving them mesmerized and full of happiness. Recently, Said The Sky headlined his first sold-out show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in his home state of Colorado.
Said The Sky has started the next chapter in his musical journey with the release of “We Know Who We Are,”with Olivver The Kid, which features uplifting vocals and melodic future bass as the first part of the story. “Treading Water” is the second step of that journey and showcases the ups and downs of a relationship seen in the music video with the relationship falling apart.
The Maine is a pop-punk band hailing from Tempe, Arizona, and members include John O’Callaghan, Kennedy Brock, Jared Monaco, Garrett Nickelsen, and Pat Kirch. Since The Maine first formed, they have toured all over the country. In addition, The Maine has performed at festivals worldwide including the UK’s acclaimed Reading & Leeds. Just this past July, they released their eighth album XOXO: From Love and Anxiety in Real Time.
Today, Said The Sky follows the two concurrent releases of “We Know Who We Are” and “Treading Water’‘ with the third and final part of the story with “Go on Then, Love” featuring The Maine. The third music video will conclude the love triangle with the three characters seen in both “We Know Who We Are” and “Treading Water” music videos. “Go On Then, Love” features euphoric vocals and relatable lyrics to those who have experienced that naive young love, with familiar melodic indie stylings from Said The Sky paired with the pop-punk vibes of The Maine.
You can catch these three anthems live at upcoming events as Said The Sky is playing festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Freaky Deaky, and HiJinx throughout the rest of 2021.
