Common Creation joins the Wakaan roster with his newest EP, Tiger Blood. Alabama-native, Chris Teel, is an experimental psychedelic-soul producer who is quickly creating a name for himself within the industry. His astonishing talent is the result of combining psychedelic soul with ethereal electronic beats. He teamed up with Matheny for their Irresponsible EP in 2020, another sick project from the young artist, and today he’s back for more. Buckle your seatbelts and get ready to dive into this psychedelic-funk realm.

The journey begins with “Supplemental Seasons” as a kaleidoscopic tapestry is crafted through wistful memories and reviving basslines. This tapestry sets Common Creation’s tone that highlights mythical melodies with a splash of an electro-soul twist.

Transitioning into “Glacial Gush,” our bodies are entranced, flowing along to those hypnotic melodies.  The journey continues with “Lowkey Kick Back,” which is packed with complex and energizing synths, keeping our bodies still hypnotized. The gears are shifted with “Silent Sleeper,” as the deep bass pounds into our inner soul. Tiger Blood concludes with “Mystic Morning,” a track painted with bright and colorful synths.

Common Creation is taking his realm to Hampton, Virginia in December where he will join GRiZ’s Space Camp alongside Liquid Stranger, CloZee, LSDream, and more. He will also be joining MIZE in Denver later this month at Cervantes for their Shift Sundays.
