Yoko has been red hot recently and if she isn’t on your radar, we don’t know what to tell you. With multiple releases throughout 2022 under her belt and some huge festival appearances lined up, she has a HUGE future ahead of her.

We hosted Yoko at our 2021 Cabin Fever Festival livestream fundraiser that benefitted The Innocence Project. The event featured DMVU, Benji Robot, Evalution, Chef Boyarbeatz and tons of other talented bass artsits. You can read our interview with Yoko leading up the event here.

Following past releases on Street Ritual, The Gradient Perspective and LoFreq Recordings, Yoko is back in the spotlight with some absolute heat on her hands. “Cold Spaghetti” is a new banger from Yoko and So Called Sound, a new label on the block that aims to shine a light on those whose art has been overlooked and to truly put value on the artists in our bass music community.

Utilizing crunchy basslines sure to keep your jaw on the floor, this track truly turns your brain to spaghetti. Yoko is no stranger to crafting these sorts of complex, intricate soundscapes. That’s exactly what we get here for the launch of So Called Sound on their debut release. More big things to come from this up and coming imprint and of course from Yoko!

You can catch Yoko at Big Dub Festival in Artemis, PA in late July. What did you think of “Cold Spaghetti?” Let us know in the comments below or on our socials!
