CHEE is back with the second single, “Act Like You Know“, from his forthcoming EP on Deadbeats, due out early next year. He has been on fire lately, with huge shows last month in both San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The first single from his forthcoming EP, Spangled, was released in early October to glowing reviews from our team. This newest track features art that was also created by CHEE himself, showcasing his artistic talent that doesn’t stop at just music. If you have been lucky enough to catch a set from this talented producer in the last couple of months, you likely got a sneak preview of this massive track on a proper speaker system.

“Act Like You Know” begins with an eerie resonance as it gradually builds with the integration of echoing vocals. A horn-driven melody wobbles along with the help of a hefty bassline and a plethora of stylistic distortion and synthy goodness. Hip-hop influences can be heard throughout the track, as is characteristic of a lot of his music. There is no denying how huge this one is from CHEE, he once again knocked it out of the park!

We can’t wait to hear the rest of this EP – judging from the first two tracks, you won’t want to sleep on this project. Let us know your thoughts about “Act Like You Know” in the comments below and on our social media, and don’t forget to support CHEE on his!
