Sippy and Neotek are off to a strong start this year, with their first release of 2023, “Bone Breaker,” coming out through Zeds Dead‘s Deadbeats.

Sippy is a Los Angeles-based, Australian-born producer and DJ that has built a serious following through her energetic productions and live performances. The rising star bass artist has taken her signature sound to stages all over the world. A Deadbeats tour veteran, Sippy has also played sets at HARD Summer, Electric Zoo, Dancefestopia, and Lost Lands. She has made a name for herself and captivated fans with her fearless take on bass music and dubstep.

Neotek is another established and extremely talented producer from down under, with tons of heavy heaters under his belt released on labels like Dim Mak and Quality Good Records.

The tune starts with a distant, eerie intro and eases the listener into the track with atmospheres and a giant reese bass. You can already tell the song will be high energy and ferocious, with a huge cinematic build-up. Then, the two producers bring in a heavy, distorted bassline layered with a high-pitched sustain bass. The whole song is extremely well made – it’s hard-hitting but clean and polished at the same time.

The switch-ups in the different bass sections feel like they have influences from artists like Peekaboo. Sippy and Neotek combined forces very smoothly on this tune, and it seemed like they blended inspiration from mainstream dubstep and the underground scene extremely well.

I loved “Bone Breaker” and would highly recommend it! What did you think of Sippy and Neotek’s newest work? Let us know in the comments below or on our socials!
