Sunday service is back in session, as Black Tiger Sex Machine returns with their first release of 2023 featuring Wasiu – a brutal dubstep heater, titled “Die A God”. The dubious track serves as the lead single of BTSM’s forthcoming LP, Portals, expected in October 2023.

Black Tiger Sex Machine dominated 2022 with their groundbreaking Once Upon A Time In Cyberworld album and subsequent tour, boasting fiery collaborations with ATLiens, Kai Wachi, and YOOKiE. Fan-favorite track, “Cheatcode”, experienced widespread success, undergoing ferocious remixes by dubstep heavyweights like SoDown, Jessica Audiffred, Calcium, JACKNIFE and more! The electronic masked madmen translated the LP into an audio-visual experience that they imprinted onto the festival scene, sending bass heads to church at Lost Lands, Dancefestopia, and VELD Fest. 

Opening with a slow rumble detailed by tiger growls and Wasiu’s fervent rap bars, “Die A God” wastes no time buffering its intensity. Fans may recall the rapper’s recognizable tone from their previous collaboration with Kai Wachi, “Prayers” as well as a multitude of appearances on their Kannibalen Records label. The hot-blooded buildup is teased twofold, before unleashing a gritty, drum-heavy sonic explosion that reinstills BTSM’s signature dubstep mastery.

The second verse relies on a seamless drum and bass beat that allows Wasiu to further build upon the hyped energy that “Die A God” brandishes. Without hesitation, Black Tiger Sex Machine throws down another unforgiving round of headbanging heat that is detailed by robotic laser FX. Waning synths and fading drums bring this untamed project to a breathless close.

“Die A God” certainly sets the bar high for Black Tiger Sex Machine’s forthcoming Portals album, promising a bountiful year of impressive releases complete with a sonic storyline experience.
