With Winter Wake Up Hotel Takeover less than a month away, bass heads and jam fans across New England are gearing up for three days of music in the comfort of Massachusett’s lakeside resort, Sturbridge Host Hotel. Art Life Studios and The Homie Collective delivered a lineup with an extensive roster of heavy hitters, including HIHF favorites Maddy O’Neal, Wreckno, NotLö, and one of the best visual artists in the game, V.Kash. Massachusetts’ premiere winter event will also feature six rooms of music and three stages, two of which are powered by heart-pounding HSD speakers. 

Winter Wake Up couldn’t leave out Masaachusetts’ flourishing art and wellness scene. Packed with workshops, a yoga room, guided meditation, self-defense classes, an immersive art experience in the “Ancient City,” and opportunities to get involved in the community. With all that, this is much more than just a festival.

Wreckno

One of our favorite artists here at HIHF, Wreckno constantly brings the heat to their discography and jaw-dropping performances with their top-tier mixing/production chops accompanied by phenomenal rap skills. With an impressive list of collaborations with some of the biggest names in electronic music, including GRiZ, Liquid Stranger, and Rezz, this is one booty-shaking set you certainly won’t want to miss.

Govinda

One of my all-time favorite artists, Govinda delivers a unique experience to every show with his remarkable violin skills in the spotlight. Govinda’s music combines ethereal and otherwordly with his soothing, deep bass. Similar vibe to esteemed electronic acts like Desert Dwellers and Beats Antique, this show will without a doubt be unlike any other at Winter Wake Up!

Tsimba

Atlanta-based producer Tsimba is in a league of his own, creating genre-defying bass music that gets your full body moving and heads bobbing. As a talented multi-instrumentalist, he can produce insanely energetic tracks and unleash diabolical live performances for his fans. Do NOT miss this one!

NotLö

If you’re a fan of everything deep dub, you must check out Deep Dark & Dangerous favorite NotLö. The queen of ominous bone-chilling bangers will definitely have something spooky up her sleeve Saturday night. Her set will undoubtedly be a mind-blowing ground-shaking experience on the HSD speakers at the EDM 4 LIFE STAGE. 

Shanghai Doom

This powerhouse duo based out of New Jersey has made quite the name for themselves since their start in 2017. They’ve caught the attention of fans and producers alike with their eccentric left-field style and have performed as direct support for heavy hitters like Shlump and LSDream. They never fail to amaze with each and every release of theirs and the same goes for their SoundCloud uploads as their side project Dankhai Shroom. If you are a bass head constantly chasing the weirdest, heaviest bass music, this is a set you won’t want to miss.
