Heard It Here First

Cavern is an up-and-coming bass music producer from Florida that you need to keep your eye on. The freeform bass artist has played some big shows this year, supporting notable names like Mersiv, G-Rex, Jantsen, Dirt Monkey, Cyber G and many others. Today, we are thrilled to premiere “Like This”, a bangin’ new single off Cavern’s forthcoming four-track Exploria EP, releasing on Wubaholics tomorrow.

Since its inception in the Spring of 2020, Wubaholics has been the home for the next big names in bass music. This year alone we’ve seen releases from names like Evalution, HEXED, Gunpoint, Undehfined, as well as HIHF guest mix alums Lavier and Raaket. It would appear that the Florida-based label has found its next rising star in Cavern, who made his first appearance on the label back in July with the release of “So What”. 

“Like This” is an absolute stomper of a tune. The big brass stabs and echoes in the intro are an epic overture to what eventually becomes a massive bass-heavy hit. This halftime/freeform slapper is guaranteed to heat up any dance floor it touches. It is one of those bangers that allows you to completely let go and release all of that pent-up energy. This single is certainly getting us excited for the full EP that’s dropping tomorrow.

“‘Like This’ was created with the idea of bringing raw energy to the dance floor. This track draws its inspiration from the immersive experience of becoming one with the music during a set, where you lose yourself entirely to the rhythm and energy surrounding you. Don’t be afraid to get down with the crowd. The idea behind crafting this EP was to delve into various styles, drawing inspiration from different sources, and then seamlessly blend them into a cohesive whole.” – Cavern
