Yoko has released a captivating three-track EP on REZZ‘s label, HypnoVizion, titled “Biomorphic Futura“. This EP showcases her unique style, blending dynamic sounds and innovative production.

Yoko, also known as Emi Veliz, is a talented DJ and producer originally from Tacoma, Washington. Now based in Denver, she has been quickly gaining recognition in the dance music scene for her skills in both production and DJing. Yoko strives to recreate the realms that exist in her own mind and mold them into sonic experiences. Her progressive approaches transcend conventional genres while fusing glitch hop and neuro-bass with a dark, distorted, and dystopic style.

Yoko has performed at several notable festivals, including Wakaan Fest, Sonic Bloom, Big Fam, Beyond Existence, and Untz Festival, amongst others, showcasing her rapidly growing presence in the live bass music scene. 

With previous huge releases on Mersiv’s Morflo Records, CloZee’s Odyzey Music, Qualia, Nutopia Records, and Chaos Game Records, we are stoked to see Yoko make her debut on HypnoVizion with the release of her exciting new EP “Biomorphic Futura.” Her immersive three-track EP features enthralling sound design throughout its entirety, featuring tracks like “Biomorphic Futura”, “Binary Mindscape”, and “Loco”, each offering a unique and engaging listening experience. 

Catch Yoko supporting Daily Bread on his Flash Flood tour, on 3/28 in Ohio with Artifakts, or at Mission Ballroom on 4/18 with Liquid Stranger, Chmura, Crawdad Sniper, and more for Liquid and Wakaan’s three-day run.
