Prepare yourself for the dancefloor collaboration we all needed, as Rezz links with Wreckno and Quackson on her very own HypnoVizion label for their provocative midtempo anthem titled “Gyrate”. Charged by the success of the year prior, these three powerhouse producers prove that they did not come to play in 2023!

Rezz had a phenomenal 2022, to say the least, whether she’s headlining festival stages at EDC Las Vegas and Lost Lands or selling out Red Rocks Amphitheater for her legendary Rezz Rocks IV production. Last year, she released her full-length Spiral album as well as her Nightmare On Rezz Street 2 Mix, containing lethal midtempo bangers that fueled her nationwide tour. The Spiral Tour touched ground in all corners of the country, supported by bass-heavy favorites including Of The Trees, EPROM, A Hundred Drums, and Wreckno.

Wreckno trailblazed his way through the past year, tearing up festival stages at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Electric Forest with his tantalizing dubs, diabolical bars, and fierce choreography. The Fantasy Tour marked his first official headline tour, allowing the icon to spin infectious tracks off of his boisterous 2022 EP, The Fantasy, for fans nationwide. Wreckno’s signature vocals rose to high demand in the industry, making way for experimental bass collaborations “Holla” and “Contract” with fan favorites, Liquid Stranger and TVBOO

Seattle-based bass producer, Quackson, rounded off a bountiful year of releases and shows, most notably opening for LSDREAM in Seattle on his Peace Love and Wubz Tour. The up-and-coming talent brazenly showcased his freeform bass capabilities in his 2022 singles, “Obituary” and “Blue Screen”. He proceeded to catch the attention of Rezz, after demoing his nightmarish sounds for her new label, HypnoVizion. Quackson cites Rezz as his main inspiration to start producing and that “Gyrate” stands as a full-circle moment in his flourishing career.

Prior to releasing “Gyrate”, Rezz took to Twitter to share some insight on the track:

“Gyrate”  is the ultimate blend of midtempo grit and rhythmic verve. In opening, Quackson lays the foundation for the project with hair-raising synth work powered by a techno-influenced tempo. As the drums build to a sturdy 105bpm, Wreckno interjects his distinctive vocals which solidify the track as a dancefloor must-have. Rezz is quick to integrate her trademark bass and bouncy drum work, forcing the subwoofers to their limits. With an equally nasty outro, this power trio masterfully crafts a ghastly tune that forces chronic bass face upon its listeners.

Here is what Wreckno had to say about the “Gyrate” collaboration:

“I’m so excited that Rezz and Quackson reached out to collab on ‘Gyrate’. I had the privilege of joining Rezz on tour this past year and I’ve been itching to work together. This track is a total anthem that’s going to erupt on the dance floor!” – Wreckno

Rezz ensures her avid fanbase that she will be playing out this thrilling anthem for a while.
