When capshun releases a new project, you can be guaranteed his familiar, intoxicated soundscapes and ear-tickling drums, but also something entirely mint. This Dallas-based DJ, producer, curator, and label head fuses Trap details and Hip-Hop components with ethereal future bass to create a world of his own.
Today, he is teaming up with fellow blog FUXWITHIT to enter a new chapter, with a celestial Trap and Bass infused heater, “Morph”. In true champion of the underground fashion, FUXWITHIT extends its platform now as a label to continue to push fresh and forward-thinking music. Considering that capshun is quite the tastemaker himself, it seems appropriate that this massive crossover and mind-melting tune would be the FUXWITHIT label debut. In capshun’s own words,
“‘Morph’ signifies how I am constantly changing and reworking who I am creatively. I am sure it’s needless to say but I love making a lot of different music. So to create something that is still me but even more than who I have been musically, kind of feels like I am morphing and transforming my creative spirit. I want everyone to feel all the different emotions on this one. The sadness, the joy, the HYPE, the anger and put it into perspective of the song.
I cannot tell you how much FUXWITHIT has done for me and how much I love the FUXWITHIT team and everything they all stand for. To be the first release feels just like a full circle experience. I’m happy to be here <3”
Out now on the brand new FUXWITHIT label, capshun’s “Morph” is an invigorating journey. Be sure to take a listen and let us know what you think in the comments below or on our socials!
