Heard It Here First

Bass music royalty G Jones and EPROM return together after a long three years to bring us the masterpiece “On My Mind“. The lead single off of the upcoming “Acid Disk 2” EP, this track goes zero to sixty and doesn’t quit. It is their first joint effort since 2019 when they released their notorious collaborative track “Daemon Veil“. The release announcement thrilled fans when it was put out on Tuesday, and is compounded even more so knowing there are more incredible tunes to come!

Both artists are set to have a phenomenal year, scheduled for headline shows and huge festivals alike. G Jones has been off on a string of massive shows, supported by epic names such as Ivy Lab, Mr. Carmack, Shades, and more. Speaking of, EPROM is set to team up with Alix Perez for a highly anticipated Shades headline set at  The Untz Music Festival in May. “On My Mind” features palpable textural sounds that are offset by colossal, masterfully crafted basslines. Steel drum-inspired sounds get things rolling as vocals lead listeners down the rabbit hole into the artists’ signature immaculate synths. Layers of pristine sound design envelop one into the abyss, sending listeners into an alternate dimension.

It’s all gas no breaks for the full three minutes and concludes with a figurative powering down, leaving listeners awestruck and ready for more from bass music’s dynamic duo.
