Ren Zukii is an on the rise electronic artist out of West Australia who deserves both your attention and the spotlight. She’s seen tons of success in the touring world down under, slanging filthy DnB alongside huge names like Pendulum, Kanine and Blanke. Today, she’s joining Liquid Stranger‘s Wakaan label in the form of her epic new Monarch EP. In fact, she’s Wakaan’s exclusive signing to add to their roster for 2022.

The rising star talent was introduced to Drum and Bass at the young age of twelve, and she’s been enamored with the rapidly expanding world of bass music ever since. As an artist, her biggest influences include legendary producers like IVY LAB, EPROM, Alix Perez, and Flying Lotus.

This up-and-coming producer makes her presence unavoidable on the Monarch’s third track “Reign,” which we have the opportunity to premiere for our friends at the Wakaan label today. This is an absolute festival weapon that you can expect to be rinsed out from artists across the dubstep world, whether or not they are Wakaan associates, this festival season.

“Reign” is the type of track that traps you in its malevolence, allowing the listener to melt into the dubious, spiraling soundscape crafted by Zukii. It’s certain to have you hypnotized, rocking back and forth with a brutal case of bass-face!

Here’s what Ren Zukii had to say about the new project as a whole:

“The ‘Monarch’ EP is a culmination of 6 years of my journey in music. I realized I could never really just write one style of music so I set off to combine everything I love about the experimental bass music scene. A lot of the inspiration for this EP came from listening to a lot of Metal and watching Quentin Tarantino movies. It’s chaotic, emotional and visceral and is the first of many to come.” – Ren Zukii
