Maryland-based producer Zingara has been making waves in the bass music scene lately with her psychedelic-infused spin on dubstep and extremely engaging presence with her fans. In 2022, the artist gained massive support from Excision as one of the winners of his Bass Music Initiative. Zingara has also had support from other established artists like GRiZ, LSDREAM, and Subtronics. She’s had her own headline tour across the US since then and has played top-tier festivals like Lost Lands, Okeechobee, Moonrise, Envision, and Paradise Blue.

Zingara knows how to blend fun, light-hearted energy into her signature psychedelic and bass-heavy sound. Her iconic production style came across with her new single, “Mindship,” which takes her listeners on an epic trip through the cosmic universe. The tune starts off with a spacey, ethereal intro and builds cinematic anticipation for a gritty bass line and textured fills. The free-form bass track resonates with the style of other dubstep artists like Liquid Stranger and Champagne Drip, while also having its own unique sound that Zingara has gained tons of traction for. “The lyrics, “We don’t need the keys we got the codeZ” came to me when I played Space Camp last year with GRiZ. I wanted to make something that would work with the storyline of the show but to connect with my fan base. Take a trip inside your mind ” – Zingara
