Conrank is a bass music producer who has had the scene in his grasp over the years. In the past, Conrank has released on huge labels like UKF, Wakaan and Bassrush and has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in dubstep like Boogie T, Jantsen, and Mersiv. This favorite of Flux Pavilion and Doctor P‘s Circus Records is returning to the legendary UK label today for his brand new Rave Day EP.
On the new EP, Conrank is recruiting some of the hottest names in bass music, like HIHF guest mix alumni Ravenscoon and Tape B, alongside Bawldy and DePaoli.
The collaboration with Bawldy, “Drop Knees Pray,” was already released a couple weeks back and has been one of our favorite distorted dubstep anthems as of late. For new tracks, first off we’ve got the highly-anticipated collaboration with Ravenscoon. The rising star producer’s sound meshes perfectly with Conrank’s, making this the ideal listen for bassheads. Ravenscoon noted that this was a huge accomplishment for him, both working with Conrank and releasing on his dream label, Circus Records.
Next up we’ve got “Neon Shades,” Conrank’s collaboration with Tape B. Featuring a raw and distinct energy, this banger is the perfect addition to your playlist, flaunting the heavyweight sounds of Tape B that are becoming increasingly popular and in demand.
The final track, “Jump,” in collaboration, DePaoli, was also a previously released single. This track features vocals and beatboxing from Conrank as well as a harrowing bass guitar. The tune fully bottles Conrank’s emotions, with the drop providing that all-encompassing release we all yearn for within bass music. Conrank discovered DePaoli while running a remix contest for another one of his tracks, “Moonshine” back in 2022.
Here’s what Conrank had to say about his brand-new Rave Day EP:
“The past few years have been amazing, a period of experimentation, creation, with the focus on songwriting and instrumentation. Rave Day is like a full circle moment, it’s me falling back in love with making dubstep all over again but bringing along everything I’ve learnt along the way, and no better way than to work with some of the freshest most talented names in the game right now. I had to dedicate it to the best day of the week, month and year….it’s RAVE DAY!” – Conrank
