Excision’s Lost Lands is known as the dubstep Super Bowl, or even dubstep Disney Land. It’s the premiere bass music festival in North America and its lineup always boasts some of the hottest headliner AND rising stars sharing their frequencies of the scene.

That being said, one of Excision’s mentees and most frequent collaborators, Dion Timmer, has traversed the status of a rising star. The Dutch wunderkind has carved out a name for himself across the years with his colorful and melodic bass music, with both his solo work and his Excision collabs.

Tracks like “Final Boss” (2016), “Hoods Up” (2018), and “Time Stood Still” (2019) have dominated the Lost Lands MainStage over the years and hypnotized listeners, drawing more and more headbangers to the quickly growing dubstep world.

In 2023, Lost Lands flaunted two headlining Excision back-to-back performances. The first was with WAKAAN labelhead and certified space boss Liquid Stranger and the second was a festival closing set alongside Dion Timmer.
