Heard It Here First

We have been watching and rooting for WHIPPED CREAM’s come up for years. With each release, she brings us closer to see who she is and always reminds us that it’s only up from here. With most of her discography being tasty Trap or brutal Bass releases, when WHIPPED CREAM opens up and slows it down a bit it is an absolute treat. Today’s release, “Angels” on Monstercat is exactly that, bringing us in even closer and debuting her vocals along with yet another emotive music video.

WHIPPED CREAM starts “Angels” with an otherworldly bassline, delicate piano keys, and warm vocals that drizzle like honey. Her words tantalize listeners and lure us into the hook before opening up the clouds and unleashing divine bass on us.

“Angels”’ lyrics tug on our heartstrings while the track cradles us with sonic comfort. The accompanying music video expresses this vacillating between states with mesmerizing editing and heavenly background.
