This fantastic trio made up of Smoakland and Shlump has teamed up today to create a fresh new track titled “Rock Like This,”  out now via Zeds Dead‘s label, Deadbeats. The tune offers ground-breaking basslines and sounds that send you out of this world. These three bass kings are definitely prepared for festival season with this one, as it is sure to shake the crowds in every venue and fest on the map.

All three contributors, the Smoakland duo’s Anthony Battaglia and Harrison Hays, and Michael Petzel aka Shlump, hail from California’s Bay Area, giving this new tune lots of west coast flavor. The Smoakland boys are known for their raw energetic work, which certainly is front and center, radiating through your bones throughout this new track. Not to mention Shlump’s talent for infusing classic dubstep with his otherworldly sound design, this one is everything we didn’t know we’d been waiting for and needed!

“Rock Like This” starts your ears with melodic extraterrestrial sounds that lead you into a deep dirty bassline that continues to blow your mind and move your feet. The track feels like blasting off into space, your space suit packed to the brim with all the gross bass sounds one could ever need.

You can catch Shlump on the remainder of his Alien Trip tour, all across the country alongside rising star acts like Xotix and Common Creation. Smoakland has various upcoming tour dates across the US as well, they just announced their “High Rollers Tour,” alongside Kumarion, where they’ll be performing tracks from their Liquid Smoak EP and mixtape series.
