Cascade Equinox Festival is on the horizon this month, and it’s getting a lot of attention with killer headliners Pretty Lights, Goose, Big Wild, Phantogram, Of The Trees, and more. Taking place at Deschutes County Fairgrounds in Redmond, Oregon from Friday, September 22 – Sunday, September 24, 2023, this festival has a wide range of music on the lineup, offering something for everyone from jam and bluegrass to house and bass music.

Tickets are available here, and they are moving fast so get ’em while you can. They also have a solid lineup of very talented women, and we are here to highlight some of them to give you the inside scoop of the sets you have to catch!

Maddy O’Neal

Maddy O’Neal is a multigenre badass, spinning bass music with her live drum pad along with “Mad-haus” sets of the groovy house music variety. She is a self taught producer and DJ who has spent the last five years touring, taking the stages of Lollapalooza, Envision, Red Rocks (x3), and many more.

LP Giobbi

LP Giobbi has had a meteoric rise to fame, showcasing her “dead house” set at Cascade, a set of Grateful Dead inspired house music. She has played countless high profile festivals such as Coachella, Electric Forest, and Tomorrowland, and is very passionate about changing the 2% female producer statistic with her incredible nonprofit FEMME HOUSE — check them out here!

Mz Worthy

As a veteran of the scene spanning over two decades, Mz Worthy pushed the envelope with her sets, incorporating house with sprinkles of booty bouncing bass to create something truly special. She is a proud trans woman who came out in 2020, and continues to inspire fans with her bold self expression and genre defying music.

The Librarian

Focusing in on beats instead of books, The Librarian has been a pillar of the scene for some time now as a DJ and producer, as well as the co-founder and music director of Bass Coast Music Festival in Canada. She has played countless shows spanning the map, and you can check out here Boiler Room x Bass Coast set here for a sneak peak into what to expect at Cascade!
