The Sol Fest Music & Arts Festival 2024 lineup is overflowing with a genre-spanning array of electronic music that will satisfy a wide variety of tastes and we’re breaking down our most anticipated acts of the weekend for our readers. The four-day music festival takes place at Vortex Spring in Ponce De Leon, Florida from May 2nd to 5th, and we’re so ready to catch our favorite DJs all weekend long!

Sol Fest also promises an awe-inspiring selection of digital and visual art that will mesmerize you – from water-screen hologram shows to murals and therapeutic workshops, you will feel truly immersed in the beauty of these impressive artists’ creations. Six waterslides that spill into the breathtaking nature of Vortex Spring will ensure a one-of-a-kind, rejuvenating festival experience for attendees as they soak up the Florida sun during river float sessions with their festival squad. Equipped with over forty food, merchandise, and craft vendors, there will be no shortage of daytime amenities and nighttime offerings for the lucky festival goers.

Sol Fest’s mission is for attendees’ minds, bodies, and souls to converge into one that leaves them feeling recharged and aligned when the weekend is over. Sol Fest is an independently run festival, and this hard-working team’s vision has come to life for electronic music fans to have a legendary weekend that’ll create memories for years to come. The festival will provide three custom-designed stages that will pair with pyrotechnics, lasers, and fireworks to solidify the magic of community, music, and art. Rezz

Our favorite space mom is bringing her midtempo madness to Sol Fest as one of the most highly-anticipated headliners of the weekend! Rezz kicked off 2024 hot with her fiery collaboration with Subtronics, “Black Ice”, and promises to keep the tunes coming amidst her creative hot streak. With an an LP full of her “heaviest tracks” on the horizon including her newest collaboration with HOLLY,“DYSPHORIA”, fans can expect to hear Rezz’s upcoming album, Can You See Me, spun at Sol Fest in all of its ferocious glory. After rounding out last year with spectacle REZZMAU5 performances alongside her idol, deadmau5, Rezz arrives fueled by a storm of carefully curated production and bone-rattling bass that is sure to leave its mark on Sol Fest as she introduces the next era of her project.

Elderbrook

Accompanied by his infectious melodies and impressive percussive elements, Elderbrook prepares to bring the party to Sol Fest 2024! This past year, Elderbrook has become a highly sought-after staple in festival lineups, prevailing as a standout selling point for festival goers across the globe. His recent Little Love album touched hearts at stages from Suwannee Hulaween to Electric Zoo, cementing Elderbrook’s high-energy, invigorating performance as a must-see. With recent clips showing him hard at work in the studio, we can’t wait to get grooving with this UK phenom at Sol Fest this May!

Manic Focus

Manic Focus has mastered the art of fusing groovy funk and danceable bass that has captivated the festival circuit for years. Fresh off of his Manic Daze and Boogie Nights tour with the Manic Focus live band and BOOGIE T.RIO group, Manic Focus comes charged with an electrifying, genre-fluid setlist full of bass, funk, trap, drum & bass, dubstep, and more. His 2023 album, Never Not Blue, had fans flocking to his sets to hear standout tracks like the infectious You Do You” or “Illa Mind” with Marvel Years. We cannot wait to see what Manic Focus has up his sleeve for Sol Fest 2024, you are not going to want to miss this set!

Emancipator

Captivating soundscapes and intricate instrumentations are the backbone of the Emancipator project, bridging the gap between ambient electronic and downtempo vibrations. Wielding a unique sound that is adaptable to any festival, Emancipator has garnered a massive fanbase that attracts flow artists to his sets to act as the conduit between sound and dance. Emancipator’s one-of-a-kind set will undoubtedly feel right at home as he spins organic sounds paired with live instrumentation amongst the natural environment of Vortex Spring. If you’re looking to chill out and be one with the music, Emancipator’s set is for you!

Chase & Status

Chase & Status are a legendary DnB duo who had a massive 2023. Their more recent tracks, “Baddadan”, “Selecta”, and “Liquor & Cigarettes”, took over the festival circuit last year, adding to the number of hits they have under their belt from their 10+ years in the game. The name Chase & Status was made based on their graffiti taglines.

As they are about to head off on their first North American tour in years, Chase & Status aims to bring an onslaught of drum and bass firepower to the states. Their 2023 Boiler Room set was one of the most viewed electronic live performances of the year, garnering six million views!

At Sol Fest, the dynamic duo that is Chase & Status will be performing as the headliners of the DnB pool party on Sunday. Don’t miss out on one of the most exciting acts on this lineup!

Smoakland

Smoakland is taking the EDM world by storm. Following a massive Taylor Swift remix and their joint Sip & Smoak tour with Sippy, this West Coast duo is bringing their Liquid DnB side-project, Liquid Smoak, to the Sol Fest pool party on Sunday. These two excel in any sub-genre they choose to dabble in. Their Morning Rituals 2023 EP showcased their prowess in the Liquid DnB subgenre and their four Liquid Smoak mixes have had their fanbase in a chokehold.

Attendees should plan to catch their pool party set at Sol Fest, but you’ll also have the opportunity to see them again as they perform a b2b set with Dirt Monkey. This second set should showcase more of their heavier production design, likely to flex tracks from their thrill ride of a 2023 album, Stay In Your Lane…, which was featured as one of our 20 favorite albums of the year last month!

Barclay Crenshaw

Barclay Crenshaw is the quickly rising side project for Dirtybird label founder and house music legend, Claude Von Stroke. This dubstep project has played Wakaan Festival multiple times in the past and also provided support for Of The Trees at the iconic Red Rocks amphitheater.

Recently, he announced his Claude Von Stroke house music alias will be taking a back seat for the Barclay Crenshaw project, and we cannot contain our excitement for his upcoming Open Channel 2024 tour that is hitting tons of major markets across North America this spring. He recently teamed up with Of The Trees and Strategy for Blue Mile” and also released another track, “Big In The Game,” just two weeks back, both boosting his massive artillery of dubstep firepower.

The multi-talented producer and DJ is teaming up with one of the hottest acts of 2023, British MC and rapper, Flowdan! Flowdan has worked with the biggest names in dance music, ranging from Skrillex and Fred Again… to Zeds Dead and Subtronics. His voice is extremely recognizable, and powerful, and is the perfect partner to team up with Barclay Crenshaw to accentuate his low-end frequencies. Don’t miss out on this special, one-of-a-kind performance of Barclay Crenshaw featuring Flowdan!

G Jones

G Jones should need no introduction to readers of our site. The talented producer is well-known for pushing boundaries with his music, expertly crafting abrasive dubstep anthems while designing soul-stirring melodic soundscapes. Gaining support from huge names in the scene like RL Grime and Porter Robinson, his albums The Ineffable Truth (2018) and Paths (2023) remain two of our favorite full-length electronic efforts over the years here at HIHF. Creating a mind-blowing visual experience to pair with his equally jaw-dropping audio for his live shows, this headlining set is going to be one Sol Fest is truly not ready for.

Netsky

Drum and Bass legend, Netsky, is going to be a huge set to catch at Sol Fest. Armed with many years of experience producing and performing, he’s an artist we just can’t get enough of! The European producer’s signature liquid DnB style focuses on high-energy tracks with lush vocal overlays. It is simply iconic to say that you’ve seen a Netsky set – so you don’t want to miss this at Sol Fest!

Kirby Bright b2b Zeplinn

Kirby Bright is going b2b with Zeplinn and we can’t wait to see what these rising star artists cook up for us! Kirby Bright produces experimental bass in a variety of different forms. Kirby can get wonky and distorted, and he can also produce melodic bass that flows freely. Kirby has a playful touch to his production and his discography is diverse, leaving fans wondering what’s coming next!

Zeplinn is a hot up-and-coming bass producer with thick tunes that supply heavy basslines and obsession-worthy beats. Zeplinn can conjure up some tracks that have a tempo so addicting, you’ll be replaying the song over and over again. Kirby Bright b2b Zeplinn is bound to be a wild and chaotic time and we can’t wait to be in the crowd for this one!

Opiuo

There’s no other way to describe Opiuo, other than that his project is a full-on VIBE. He produces the funkiest bass and intertwines so many instrumental elements into his electronic music – his newest album, Opiuo & The Opulent Orchestra, gains influence from classical music and meshes with electronic beats perfectly. Opiuo has collaborated with huge players in the melodic and experimental bass worlds such as CloZee, Big Gigantic, and Ashez, just to name a few. His sound is unique and you can’t help but get groovy when you hear his tunes rinsed live. Prepare to get funky during Opiuo’s set at Sol Fest, it will be a funky, magical experience unlike any other!

Maddy O’Neal

Maddy O’Neal continues to turn whatever she touches into absolute gold. A producer who pours her heart and soul into her music, only the best vibes reverberate off of her tracks and into the crowd at her sets. Whether Maddy is seamlessly blending smooth jazz into deep basslines, or tying in disco elements into wonky bass tunes, she just wants the crowd to get groovy and live in the moment.

Maddy O’Neal is taking over festival lineups in 2024 and will also be performing at Electric Forest, Ultra Music Festival, and Resonate Suwannee. Maddy is THE act to see for this year and we’re going to have the time of our lives in the crowd for her set at Sol Fest, moving and grooving!
